COMING YOUR WAY IN 2024
AUSSIE LEGENDS HEMP PRESENTS:
WORLD  DON’T STOP ALBUM AND TOUR

Welcome to 2024

It’s going to be a cracker of a year for James Blundell – both as an artist and Aussie Legends Hemp Ambassador.

World Don’t Stop, his highly anticipated 15th studio album (Wonderwheel Music, MGM) is coming your way this March.  Produced by Larry Campbell and Justin Guip, the Grammy award winning team responsible for the late great Levon Helm’s post Band albums, World Don’t Stop is a breathtaking fusion of Americana, New Orleans, Finnish folk and Australian country rock.

And the good news gets even better!  Aussie Legends Hemp is pleased to announce it will be the official World Don’t Stop Tour presents partner as James takes to the road throughout 2024. To mark the announcement Aussie Legends Hemp is offering fans the chance to win the ultimate James Blundell gift pack, tickets and backstage meet and greet passes to James Blundell in concert at Tamworth Town Hall January 25th

Pre-orders for the album are coming soon.

2023

2023 saw a resurgent James Blundell dropping two excellent singles. Sideways and Queen of The Lost Highway.Sideways featured American maestro Larry Campbell shredding  a million dollar riff straight out of the Greg Macainish Skyhooks School of Rock as James vocals sliced, diced and cut through the miasma of what it means to live sideways.Queen of The Lost  Highway was hailed by Lemar Byrnes as “an instant classic”. It’s Hank William’s country meets contemporary Americana and Finnish minor chord melancholia. Producer Larry Campbell’s signature guitar motifs and Little Feat’s Bill Payne’s killer keys curl around James’s bittersweet vocals as he laments love’s last rites.THE LOST HIGHWAY TOUR2023 was also the year James took to the road on The Aussie Legends Hemp Lost Highway tour, playing a string of superb unplugged live and intimate shows and major festivals that saw him attract a legion of new and old fans.

Here’s two recent interviews with Channel Nine XTRA hosts David Campbell and Sylvia Jeffreys and Studio Ten’s Angela Bishop, Daniel Doody, Narelda Jacobs & Tristan MacManus talking history, Aussie Legends hemp and hit singles.

The Studio Ten interview features an excellent unplugged acoustic version of Sideways.
